CHARITIES WE SUPPORT
We’re proud to support some wonderful causes. And we’re proud to match every penny our employees raise, doubling the final donation.
Here’s how Orange Square people have been making a difference.

Great North Run 2019
Congratulations are in order for Alan Hunter, our Creed Boutique Sales Assistant for completing the Simplyheath Great North Run in September 2019 in 2 hours 3 minutes.
Alan raised a total of £600.01 for YMCA North Tyneside and thanks everyone at Orange Square for helping to boost the amount. It will really help the supported accomodation shelter in Newcastle.
Christmas Jumper Day
Orange Square staff at our head office in Richmond put on their best Christmas jumpers to raise money for Save the Children.
Everyone made a donation, enjoyed a team brunch while Christmas songs played, and said “Cheese!” for our festive group photo.

Macmillan Coffee Morning
On 28 September 2018 we took part in Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, the charity’s largest annual fundraising activity.
Our Richmond staff raised £80 which will go towards helping people living with cancer.
We’re looking forward to hosting more coffee mornings next year and aim to double to total amount raised.
Look Good Feel Better
Look Good Feel Better (LGFB) is the only international support charity that helps women, men and teenagers manage the visible side effects of cancer treatment, such as eyebrow, eyelash and hair loss.
LGFB Beauty Volunteers run free, confidence-boosting skincare and make-up workshops and classes throughout the UK. We donated a range of fragrances and £40,000 towards this very worthwhile cause.

Royal Parks Half Marathon 2018
Congratulations once more to Stephanie-Jane Norris from head office for completing a Royal Parks Half Marathon, this time in October 2018.
With a fabulous time of 2 hours 24 minutes, Stephanie beat her 2017 time by an all-important four minutes. She was running for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. We were delighted to fund-match her efforts, meaning £1,000 was raised for a very good cause.
Race for Life – Cancer Research UK
Well done Rachel Freeman, an Orange Square Senior Sales Consultant at Harrods for raising £800 for Cancer Research UK.
Rachel took part in the women-only 10k event, which was held on Blackheath Common.
We matched her fundraising in full, meaning Rachel raised £1,600 to help provide research into all types of cancer.

Royal Parks Half Marathon 2017
Hats off to Stephanie-Jane Norris, Operations Executive, for completing October 2017’s Royal Parks Half Marathon in 2 hours 28 minutes.
Stephanie’s sponsorship raised £807 for the Word Wildlife Fund, which Orange Square matched pound-for-pound to make a final donation of £1,614.
Stephanie said she’s already planning the run the race again next year, and is determined to beat this year’s time.
